The company provides fertilizer and chemicals to farmers for their crop needs and provides custom farm services, owning a tractor, a drill, and some minimum till equipment. The company entered the seed business in 2005, erecting 5 seed bins and a belt conveyor system where the belt delivers the grain above the scales. Todays Agronomy Division provides these services not only in Garfield County, but also in Asotin, Columbia, and Whitman Counties. |
ServicesWe provide many services at the Agronomy Division. Aside from providing chemical and fertilizer, we also offer custom applications of these products. Custom applications range from fertilizer applications through our 44-foot cultivator, 37-foot chisel plow, or through our conventional 48-foot aqua machines. We also offer custom seeding with our Great Plains No-Till drill equipped for fertilizer. Spring seeds that are carried typically consist of feed barley, spring soft white wheat, as well as dark northern spring wheat. Fall seeds that are carried consist of soft white wheat (CLEARFIELD, as well as common), and hard red winter wheat. Special requests of any seed, such as Roundup Ready Alfalfa or CLEARFIELD dark northern spring, are handled as best as they can; depending on availability.
Other services that we provide include GPS field mapping, soil sampling and analysis, as well as general crop consulting for weed control, and any other abnormalities that may occur during the growing season.
